What We Collect
- Account info: name, email, phone (optional)
- Device signals: motion (accelerometer magnitude only), screen on/off events, charging state, battery level
- Activity from location (iPhone): the app uses iOS "significant location change" events — that the phone has moved a meaningful distance — as a low-power signal that your loved one is up and about. Only an active/inactive status is derived from it; no coordinates are transmitted to us or stored.
- Device info: manufacturer, OS version, app version
What We Do NOT Collect
- Your whereabouts — no map, no coordinates, no location history; the signal above tells us only that the phone moved, never where
- Camera or microphone — never
- Messages, calls, contacts, or browsing history — never
- App usage data — never
How We Use Data
Device signals are used solely to determine if the senior is active (using their phone normally). When signals stop for an extended period, caregivers are notified. Data is not sold, shared with third parties, or used for advertising.
Data Storage
Data is stored on our servers (US and Hong Kong). Heartbeat data older than 90 days is automatically deleted. All data is transmitted over HTTPS.
Your Rights
- You can delete your account and all data at any time
- You can remove a senior and all their data from the dashboard
- You can request a copy of your data by contacting us
